DEPUTY TOWN CLERK
Spinal column points 22-25 (currently £21,074 - £23,111 p.a.)
Cullompton Town Council is looking for a full-time Deputy Clerk to fill the gap left by the resignation of its Youth Council Administrator and Committee Clerk and also take on some of the Town Clerk’s workload so that she is better able to concentrate on her strategic role.
The Council has 15 Councillors and 11 members of staff and its 2018/19 precept is £334,146.00.
Working from the Town Council offices in Cullompton applicants must be able to demonstrate that they have experience of administration management, financial management, the knowledge and ability to understand local government law and procedure, competent IT skills and the capacity to cover the role of Town Clerk/RFO in her absence.
The hours are 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday with some evening and occasional weekend work.
The successful candidate will be CiLCA qualified or be willing to undertake study for this qualification.
